The loud opening fanfare gives way to a melodic section which is followed by a slower more reflective passage prior to a jolly ending. Glo Cymreig (Welsh Coal) 11-Aug-2015   Composed by K Davies    Written in response to a rather uninspired performance of Birtwistle's Grimethrope Aria (by a band which shouldn't be named) this music reflects on the sad closure of the Welsh coal mines remembered for their energy, comradeship, militancy and redundancies in this land of song. Despite the 8/8 and 5/8 bars, the music is more playable than it sounds! (Duration: 5:05).	Prelude, Fugue and Chorale 05-Apr-2015   Composed by K Davies    Something different featuring Euphonium, Solo Horn, Flugelhorn and Solo Cornet but despite being mostly in 7/8, the steady tempo and ostinato rhythms makes it very playable.
